Between 1992 and 2002, collaborations with AMINSA (Agrupación Mediterránea de Ingeniería S.A.) in the drafting of the following projects:
Bridge over the Cervera dry riverbed projected in 2001 to substitute the ancient CV-135 road bridge, collapsed due to scour. de sus pilas.
In the pass of one track over another with a lot of skew, it is usuall to resort to pergolas. This one was done with train traffic on the lower tracks. It is totally prefabricated, and access viaducts (also prefabricated) were added to avoid the long retaining walls of the embankment.
Projected by the Carlos Fernandez Casado office, the lateral girder la viga de borde eceived the impact of the arm of a excavator, that that exposed the prestressing wires. After checking the stability by means of a load test, the girder was was reconstructed in place, and all the pathologies were treated to reopen it to traffic.
These viaducts were designed to avoid the mid-slope route on unstable soils, where landslides are feared in the medium and long term. V03B is almost 2 km long. The piers are special, with the voids on the outside, something very unusual.
These viaducts combine formed cast in place decks with precast sections at the junction with the lower tracks. Both parts are onected with prestressing by bars, to bring the seismic force of the entire deck to one of the abutments. Furthermore, some piers are frame-type, with offset piers, to allow the crossing with the lower track.
Foundaton of the AP-7 highway bridge in the riberbed. The massifs that are seen were formed during construction, but they have been confused with the foundation, alarming the neighbors from nearby towns.
Due to the elevation of the highway layout, the replacement of the gauge required the hoisting of the bridge's deck about 80 cm from its initial elevation. Load tests were done before and after the operation, and the reinforcement of the piers and abutments was designed.
It is a four floors building with more than 200,000 m 2 of total surface area for the storage of vehicles, built on very low-quality port landfills. For the foundations, precast piles were projected, driven 36 m deep.
